Between Photographed Light and Digital Painting

The work presented in PHOTOGRAPHY_BRUSH originates from an authorial photograph, carefully observed and composed from reality, which serves as the starting point for a slow process of pictorial transformation. Maintaining structural fidelity to the original scene, the photographic image is reinterpreted as a digital oil painting under the artist’s curatorial control, resulting in a hybrid work that exists between record and interpretation, where each piece emerges as a poetic extension of the photographed image toward its definitive form.
